When I saw Lizzo Marek of Artisan Cake Company cut into her lumberjack cake and it was plaid inside, I new I had to made one, it was so cool! So I created my own plaid cake with red velvet and black chocolate cake. decorated with fondant on top and chocolate buttercream on the sides and filling, textured to look like a log. I wanted to create a fun cake that would be great for a man. I created a cake based on a popular trend, the chalkboard cake, but with a geeky twist, this one is covered with physics and math equations and a couple quotes, one by Albert Einstein. I did do a popular chalkboard thing and put his name on a banner. Everyone at the party loved the cake. It was a red velvet marbled with chocolate cake with white buttercream.
